Chandigarh University Launches Bajaj Finserv Certificate Program to Empower Future BFSI Leaders

 Recently, Chandigarh University's University School of Business (USB) launched the Bajaj Finserv Certificate Programme in Banking, Finance, and Insurance (CPBFI) - a joint initiative by Chandigarh University and Bajaj Finserv.



This certificate program in Banking, Finance, and Insurance aims to empower first-generation graduates and undergraduates from smaller towns and rural areas by equipping them with the right aptitude and attitude for a strong career in the financial services industry. 


Moreover, this 100-hour virtual online program covers various capabilities, such as Self-management and confidence, workplace communication skills, understanding of banking products and services, understanding of Insurance products and operations, customer interaction skills, and Interview-facing skills. 


Alongside, this certificate program prepares students to start their careers in Banking and Finance. Additionally, this training program earns them a certification from NIIT-IFBI. Apart from this, CPBFI is a perfect virtual program that helps students develop skills, learn from industry experts, and earn an industry-recognized certificate from NIIT-IFBI. Also, it equips them with job-ready skills for Banking and Insurance. 


Furthermore, in the launch of this program, Ms. Pallavi Gandhalikar & Mr. Kanwaljit Singh joined us as the esteemed Guest Experts. During the launch, they shared their industry experience in the dynamic world of banking, finance, and insurance.


In general, this is a major move that will help students who are the first in their families to graduate or undergraduates as they chase careers offered by the BFSI sector.

9 Engineering courses at Chandigarh University get ABET accreditation

 Chandigarh University now has the highest number of ABET accredited engineering courses among private universities in the country Chandigarh University (CU), Gharuan, has earned the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) recognition for its nine engineering programmes. Chancellor Satnam Singh Sandhu claimed that CU now has the highest number of ABET accredited engineering courses among private universities in the country. Honorable Chancellor, S. Satnam Singh Sandhu added that ABET, a premier global accreditation organisation for engineering and engineering technology programmes, is considered as evidence of an engineering programme’s standards.
