AI in Education

Different AI Models and Capabilities in Education

AI is being used in many ways to improve education. Here are some key areas where AI is making a difference:

  • Personalized Learning: AI helps create learning plans that are tailored to each student's needs. This means students can learn at their own pace and in ways that suit them best. For example, AI can analyze a student's performance and suggest areas where they need more practice or review.
  • Predictive Analytics: AI can predict which students might struggle and need extra help. This allows teachers to provide support early on, ensuring students stay on track.
  • Automation of Tasks: AI automates tasks like grading and data analysis, freeing teachers to focus on teaching and mentoring.
  • Engagement and Feedback: AI tools can engage students with interactive games and provide instant feedback, helping them learn more effectively.

As of 2024, about 51% of educators use AI-powered games to make learning more interactive and engaging. Additionally, 54% of students show increased engagement when AI tools are used in their coursework.

Fact: AI-driven adaptive learning systems have been shown to boost exam scores by 62%

Perplexity: Enhancing Education with AI

Perplexity is an AI-powered search engine that provides accurate and concise answers. It can be very useful in education by helping students and teachers find reliable information quickly. Here’s how Perplexity can enhance education:
