 Success Story of - Ajay Singh Chib


Another Success story written at Chandigarh University when Ajay Singh Chib from a small town of Jammu and Kashmir state, took admission in MBA Tourism and Hospitality Management Program at University Institute ofTourism and Hospitality Management to pursue his post-graduation in the year 2017-2019. 

Since, Ajay is passionate about tour and travel.  His interest and passion developed into profession at CU through the course. After campus placement with famous Lastminute.com, an UK based online travel agency and leisure retailer’s branch at Bangalore, he started working as travel desk associate. Within a few months of joining, initially faced some obstacles but based on his quick learning ability, confidence and performance got promotion as team leader and now became a Sales Manager.  
   Ajay is playing a major role in company business.  He is looking after overall operational aspects of the firm, leading a sales team, conducting interviews for new candidates, giving personal training, ensuring achievement of team targets and organizational goals, providing consistent support and valuable suggestions to top level management for their strategic planning. Observing his talent, qualities, commitment, brilliant management skills and professionalism at work place his company has offered him a free trip to Ibiza in Spain.

                      His interesting story of career milestones is setting a fine example of learn, earn,   achieve, believe and progress.

9 Engineering courses at Chandigarh University get ABET accreditation

 Chandigarh University now has the highest number of ABET accredited engineering courses among private universities in the country Chandigarh University (CU), Gharuan, has earned the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) recognition for its nine engineering programmes. Chancellor Satnam Singh Sandhu claimed that CU now has the highest number of ABET accredited engineering courses among private universities in the country. Honorable Chancellor, S. Satnam Singh Sandhu added that ABET, a premier global accreditation organisation for engineering and engineering technology programmes, is considered as evidence of an engineering programme’s standards.
