Heading towards a Great Success - Alumni Success Story


Heading towards a great success and on the road of achieving it Mission and Vision, Chandigarh University is producing an Orchid of flourishing and successful alumni, every year. Chandigarh University, having been established with a Mission of Establishing a strategic relationship with leading National & International corporate and universities for academic as well as research collaborations, has produced a bunch of flourishing and successful Lawyers and Advocates.

With the aim of joining the Corporate World, in the field of Law, and being inspired by the huge success of the University, Rizu Biala, resident of Faridabad, joined the University Institute of Legal Studies, Chandigarh University, Gharuan, Mohali, Punjab, to pursue her Master of Laws in the year 2016-17.

Being a bright student, Rizu Biala, topped the University with 9.2 CGPA and thereafter she joined as an intern with a Senior advocate at Delhi High Court and assisted him in Arbitration and Conciliation matters and in the preparing the Briefs. After that, Rizu joined as an intern at Bajaj Motors Ltd. Gurgaon, where she successfully reviewed and vetted vendor contracts appeared in litigations before the Labour Courts.

After her successful journey as an intern, Rizu Biala, currently works as an Order Fulfilment Manager at Legal Resolved Gurgaon, which is a Legal Tech Co., providing Legal Services PAN India. In the company, Rizu is successfully handling the responsibilities of drafting agreements, contracts; on boarding lawyers; managing the legal content; recruitment of lawyers; technical training to the teams; etc.

We wish Rizu Biala, to set up new milestones in her journey and a GREAT SUCCESS in the future.

9 Engineering courses at Chandigarh University get ABET accreditation

 Chandigarh University now has the highest number of ABET accredited engineering courses among private universities in the country Chandigarh University (CU), Gharuan, has earned the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) recognition for its nine engineering programmes. Chancellor Satnam Singh Sandhu claimed that CU now has the highest number of ABET accredited engineering courses among private universities in the country. Honorable Chancellor, S. Satnam Singh Sandhu added that ABET, a premier global accreditation organisation for engineering and engineering technology programmes, is considered as evidence of an engineering programme’s standards.
