TCS Ignite is the gateway for science students interested in an IT career at TCS. TCS Ignite is a learning program for young science graduates who are selected  to be employed in Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). This is an intense, six-month long learning program to help orient science graduates from different academic disciplines to the IT industry and the corporate world. TCS Ignite has a
team of world class faculty who teach core courses in computing and business skills in a specially designed state-of-the-art learning space. Over the years Ignite has pioneered new models of learning such as the incubator model of learning which provides a spectrum of opportunities for new trainees to unleash their potential.

Selection to TCS Ignite is through a rigorous process that assesses abilities for logical and analytical thinking, basic math, communication, comprehension, and attitude. The Open Ignite platform is the technology interface for all the aspirants of the TCS Ignite program. Open Ignite, offers aspirants opportunities to improve the skills they need to perform well in the TCS selection process.

Open Ignite is the largest community of science graduates in the country. Open Ignite helps science students launch their careers, by improving their chances of being employed with a host of practice aptitude tests and programming challenges. With Open Ignite, students can learn anywhere, anytime and at their own pace. Science students can also meet and collaborate with peers, seniors and experts in the industry.

9 Engineering courses at Chandigarh University get ABET accreditation

 Chandigarh University now has the highest number of ABET accredited engineering courses among private universities in the country Chandigarh University (CU), Gharuan, has earned the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) recognition for its nine engineering programmes. Chancellor Satnam Singh Sandhu claimed that CU now has the highest number of ABET accredited engineering courses among private universities in the country. Honorable Chancellor, S. Satnam Singh Sandhu added that ABET, a premier global accreditation organisation for engineering and engineering technology programmes, is considered as evidence of an engineering programme’s standards.
