 50+ Academic Leaders From 38 International Universities & 27 Countries To Attend Global Education Summit 2022 At Chandigarh University | 3rd - 4th October  

Well-known for taking initiatives to drive forward the standard of higher education in India, Chandigarh University is organizing a two-day Global Education Summit-2022, on October 3 and 4, at the CU campus. Moreover, the vision behind organizing this summit is to formulate and strengthen International academic collaborations in Higher education for innovation and global sustainability.

Apart from this, 50+ academic leaders (Vice-Chancellors) from 38 International Universities and 27 countries will be part of this summit to deliberate on the finer nuances of establishing the road map in this direction.

The Vision of Chandigarh University Behind Organizing Global Education Summit-2022

While sharing more details in this context, the Pro-Chancellor of Chandigarh University, Prof. (Dr) RS Bawa, said that the Global Education Summit 2022 will pave the way for partnerships and collaborations in the field of higher education and will go a great way in improving the Standards of Higher Education in Indian Universities.

Global Education Summit 2022 is our attempt to further the vision of honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi as envisaged in India’s new education policy, which stresses on internationalization of education by improving the Standards of Higher Education in Indian Universities and matching the global standards by encouraging Indian Institutions to reach-out and establish a partnership with the Best International Universities of the World. - Prof. (Dr) RS Bawa (Pro-Chancellor, Chandigarh University)

With International academic collaborations in Higher education for innovation and global sustainability as its theme, the Global Education Summit 2022 will be a great stepping stone in boosting the internationalization of education in further strengthening collaborations with international institutions around the globe.

Undoubtedly, the Global Education Summit 2022 will be valuable for students and faculty members. Apart from this, the Global Education Summit 2022 will be graced by vice-chancellors from over 50 universities in 27 countries, including America, Australia, Canada, and the UK, and it will help the faculty members share their views on the aspects of evolving teaching methods, learning strategies, student evaluation methods, and the socialization process.

Furthermore, Prof. (Dr) RS Bawa (Pro-Chancellor, Chandigarh University) said that Vice Chancellors, Deans, and Directors of various Indian Universities and International Partner Universities, along with Chandigarh University Faculty and students, will participate in this impressive conference.

Chief Guest & Guest of Honor - Global Education Summit-2022, Chandigarh University 

Prof. Dr. Pam Fredman (President, IAU - International Association of Universities) will be the Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony on October 3. Moreover, Prof (Dr) Tassew Woldehanna (President, Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia), Prof (Dr) Sibrandes Poppema (President, Sunway University, Malaysia), and Prof (Dr) Hajah Zohrah Binti Haji Sulaiman (Vice-Chancellor, Brunei University of Technology, Brunei) will join the inaugural ceremony as the Guest of Honor. 

Global Education Summit-2022 - Topics of Discussions

Final Words

Chandigarh University will prepare a detailed analysis report on the outcomes of the elaborative deliberations on these sub themes during the Global Education Summit 2022. Also, we will present it to the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
