Alumni Success Story Fashion Designer

I Keshav, student of Chandigarh University am really glad to find Chandigarh University as a way for my success. Today what I have achieved is just because of this university. I started my journey in fashion designing in 2016 as a student of which is a 3 year graduation program. In fifth semester I opted for costume designing as my specialization which helped me a lot in my career. In final semester I participated in annual fashion show, CU OUTLOOK with theme named kalbelia, held in the university and got 2nd position which was the first big achievement of my life.

After this I participated in another fashion show IFFA with the same collection. After this I also tried my luck in Indian kids fashion tour which was also a great opportunity to give me rise in the journey of design. Currently I am working as an Assistant Designer in Punjabi Movie Industry. I have designed cloths in some Punjabi movies like named “Nanak name Jahaj hai” and “Pind surang puryia” and some other upcoming projects. I am still giving my time and love to my new projects.

The curriculum of CU has been structured systematically, aptly matching the industry standards. I am always thankful to the faculty of the university whose proper guidance, direction, motivation have made me a successful professional. I would like to recommend CU to everyone, who has dreams to reach the utmost heights and most importantly has the courage to dream big.

Success Story of CU Alumni

I joined Chandigarh University 2 years Back in 2017 as a student of M.A JMC under the Department School of Media Studies. In this whole course I got a chance to discover my real potential and transform myself. I could not do justice with my talent without the help of the wonderful faculty.

I am really thankful to have you all by my side. I was passionate towards radio and television as host and along with that I found that I can even write well. I also used to do mimicry in the college festivals so it added more confidence in me and it became convenient for me to adjust in such tensed situations. CU Media festival was a great opportunity for me to showcase my real talent of script writing and performing that script for my own. So after the course i easily managed to get internship in 94.3 MyFm. Radio was in my veins from a very long time and i maintain good relations with almost all the radio stations of tricity .

Then i got my first job of copywriter in company and then the big opportunity came to my way when i joined Balle Balle Channel as Music Manager and right now i am a Show Producer in The Channel. It would not be possible without the proper Guidance, So all thanks to Chandigarh University. I really miss those days alot. The nature of my course at CU taught me multitasking and multi-functioning.
