Cloud Computing Workshop

Cloud Computing Workshop

Cloud computing is defined as a type of computing that depends on sharing computing resources rather than having local servers or personal devices to handle applications.

In cloud computing, the word cloud is used as a symbol for "the Internet," so the phrase cloud computing means "a type of Internet-based computing," where different services — such as servers, storage and applications — are delivered to an organization's computers and devices through the Internet.

Cloud takes a variety of forms, combining technologies, solutions, and consumption models to help you create and leverage an agile, efficient, and cost-effective infrastructure for delivering SLA-based services. Some organizations are building its own private cloud, while others use public cloud options for less critical applications and data, and potentially lower cost.

Be a part of first of its kind National Workshop on Cloud Computing at Chandigarh University.
